Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital CT Scan department, requiring ARRT (R)(CT) certification and at least 1 year of recent experience.

Details

• Located in the CT Scan department on the first floor of a main hospital building
• 465-bed hospital with a 16-person CT department staff
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Procedures include bone marrow biopsy, cryoablations, microwave ablations, CTA coronary/pulmonary, liver biopsy, and general ortho, body, and neuro scans
• Equipment includes GE and Siemens CT scanners
• EMR: Meditech with Fuji PACS
• Mid shift: 11:30 AM – 10:30 PM
• No call required for this assignment

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• BLS required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Minimum of 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience required; allied candidates must have at least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months
• Hospital experience preferred
• Procedural experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• Active license required if applicable
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging including interventional procedures such as ablations, biopsies, and advanced vascular studies
• Collaborative, team-oriented work environment; flexible candidates are encouraged to apply
• Scrub color: Olive Green top with Black scrub pants
• Permanent positions on the unit are available for those interested in long-term placement
