Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel position in Golden, CO, requiring a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Located in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts, 0700–1930
• Weekend availability is required
• 36 hours per week
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to assignment start
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ICU patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and coordinates therapy and treatment plans
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation as needed
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who were permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results — candidates should report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of committing to the role
