Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Illinois, with a focus on heavy ortho, urology, spine, and robotic procedures requiring call availability.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Heavy case volume in orthopedics, urology, spine, and robotic-assisted procedures
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week (0800–1830)
• Call required: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month at minimum, with potential for additional call based on departmental need
• Floating to other facilities within the health system may be required

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Date of birth (DOB) and Social Security Number (SSN) may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition
• Accurate and complete medical record documentation is expected
