Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a day/evening position in California, requiring ARRT(CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Diagnostic imaging department focused on CT scanning
• 4x10 hour day and evening shifts with no overnight shifts
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS, ARRT, and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• Current California Certified Radiological Technologist (CRT) license required — license required if applicable
• Current peripheral vascular access certification required
• Strong understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology
• High degree of accuracy in CT positioning and exposure techniques
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Serves as the primary liaison between patients, radiologists, and other support team members
• Applies professional and ethical judgment along with critical thinking skills when performing CT procedures
