Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a night shift contract position in Rio Rancho, NM.

Details

  • CT Scan department in a hospital setting
  • 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Saturday through Monday
  • 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
  • Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required
  • Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of current CT Technologist experience required
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • ARRT(CT) certification required
  • Primary ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification required (must be from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute)
  • NM State License required (license required if applicable)
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

  • Performs CT radiographs according to established practices and procedures
  • Responsibilities include reviewing exams for clinical appropriateness, prioritizing exams, and communicating critical findings effectively
  • A dosimeter (OSL or TLD) is required for radiation monitoring and must be provided prior to the start of the assignment
  • Former permanent staff of this facility must wait one year before being considered as a traveler
  • Previous experience at this health system may be subject to rehire eligibility review
