Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a night shift Emergency Dept position in Knoxville, TN, requiring 1+ year of ED experience and a TN or compact RN license.

• Hospital Emergency Services department setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Patient ratio of 4:1 (variable)
• Total patient care model
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• No floating required
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• BLS required prior to start date
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and NRP required within 90 days of start
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Dept RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration and discussed at the time of interview
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
