Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Dept night shift position requiring 1+ years of ED experience and TN or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Services department of a hospital environment
- Total patient care model with a variable 4:1 patient ratio
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment length
- No call responsibilities
- No floating required
- No 48-hour work requirement
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
- BLS certification required before start
- ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and NRP certifications required within 90 days of start
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of start
- 1+ years of recent Emergency Dept experience required
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Royal blue scrubs required
Additional Information
- Provide total patient care to Emergency Department patients
- Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- RTO requests must be less than one week and discussed at interview
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
