Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient clinic position in Basalt, Colorado, working four 10-hour weekday shifts per week.

• Outpatient physical therapy setting at the Willits Clinic in Basalt, CO
• Schedule is four 10-hour days per week with varying weekdays; no weekends
• Position is focused on rehabilitating patients across a variety of diagnoses to improve strength, ROM, balance, safety, and function
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PT experience required; 3–5 years preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active Colorado PT license (DORA) or Compact license for Colorado required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Colorado CAPS background check required prior to starting (may take up to two weeks to obtain)
• DOB or SSN required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
• Position was created to accommodate increased patient volume and reduce wait times
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
