Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a PACU position requiring at least 1 year of ICU/PACU experience and TN or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a 16-bed PACU unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Unit is staffed by RNs only, with no unit secretary or tech support
• Uses bedside monitors and a-lines
• Documentation via Meditech
• 12-hour shifts scheduled from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM with call rotations
• No floating required
• Anesthesia leads intubation procedures performed on the unit

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• CCRN and CAPA certifications preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU/PACU experience required
• ICU skill set required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and anesthesia procedures
• Team known for strong teamwork and collaboration
• Navy blue scrubs required as uniform
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• First-time travelers may be considered
