Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Miles City, MT, requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department setting at a hospital in Miles City, MT
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Required certifications (all must be AHA-issued and valid through the start of the assignment): BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient well-being
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans and documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
