Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting with at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting with 1:1 patient care
- Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts with Thursdays off; hours are 7:15am–5:45pm Monday through Wednesday and 7:15am–4:15pm on Fridays
- Facility is closed on weekends
- Approximately 50 patients per week with 45-minute one-on-one sessions
- Charting is done in Meditech
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- AZ state PT license required if applicable
- Meditech experience highly preferred
- Strong skills in orthopedic, neurologic, and general outpatient PT assessment and treatment
- Experience with a broad range of modalities including E-stim, ultrasound, traction, cryotherapy, and moist heat
Additional Information
- Local candidates and first-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Travel pairs are accepted
- Former permanent employees of the facility must wait 12 months before being considered for a travel assignment
- Holiday coverage is required
- RTO requests are considered but should be kept minimal
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- A copy of your driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration
- Orientation modules are non-billable and included as part of onboarding
