Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in California, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and the ability to circulate.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 07:00–19:30
- Large hospital setting experience is highly preferred
- Charting is performed in Epic (experience required)
- Floating between all facilities within California is expected for all travelers
- Weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs
- Scrubs are provided for L&D
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required; pending licensure is not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification is preferred
- Must be able to circulate
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
- Travel pairs will not be considered
- Scheduling requests related to outside employment will not be accommodated
- Minimal to no RTO is preferred; excessive RTO requests may significantly impact candidacy
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; those within 50 miles may be eligible at a local rate — contact your recruiter for details
- Former permanent employees of the Providence system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the submitting facility
- Refusal to float between facilities within California may result in termination of the assignment
- Free parking is available on-site
- RNs wear navy blue scrubs
