Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC certification and a minimum of 2 years of ER experience, with Level II or III trauma background.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department serving both adult and pediatric patients
- Level II or III trauma environment
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (must be willing to obtain prior to start if not already held)
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a comparable-sized facility required
- Level II or III trauma center experience required
- Recent ER travel experience within the past 6–8 months preferred
- Two supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- Facility conducts its own drug screening upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
- Candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive drug screen prior to and upon arrival, including CBD products
