Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring strong robotics, ortho, and neuro experience in a smoke-free hospital environment.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Day shift, 3x10-hour shifts (11:00–23:30)
• Robotics, orthopedic, and neurological surgical cases
• On-call required: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month (details discussed at interview)
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling is not available
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of direct RN OR experience required
• Strong robotics, orthopedic, and neuro OR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO added after submission is unlikely to be approved
• This is a smoke-free facility — all candidates must be nicotine-free with no exceptions; a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required
• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized and completed promptly upon confirmation of assignment
