Pros
Some of the nurses in the MICU are some of the best people I have ever met. Very high acuity patients but I learned a lot. Amazing teamwork and camaraderie
Cons
The facility is literally falling apart and staffing is terrible sometimes. Management is not as great and supportive as it used to be. Patient population can be difficult to work with (lots of ETOH, withdrawal, ODs, etc)

- Short Term Acute Care
- 889 beds

Pros
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, and I always knew what the next step was, i never felt like i was left in the dark. One of my favorite things has been how communicative everyone is. Whether it’s my recruiter, Amanda, or Iranna from payroll, I always get a quick response when I have a question. It’s nice working with a team that actually follows up and keeps you in the loop. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.

About
Philadelphia is one of the most exciting cities for history enthusiasts but offers plenty for art lovers and those who appreciate good food and drink. Probably its biggest claim to fame is Independence Hall, where the Founding Fathers of America met to debate and eventually signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Visitors also marvel at the famously cracked Liberty Bell at Independence National Historical Park. At the burial grounds of Christ Church are the graves of Benjamin Franklin and his wife. While many come to the Philadelphia Museum of Art to re-enact the famous scene from Rocky on its steps, it houses a vast collection of works from around the world. The historic Reading Terminal Market dates back to 1892 as the oldest farmer's market in the country, offering fresh seafood, meat, produce and other local foods.
