Description

American Traveler is hiring an ARRT-certified CT Technologist with CT and XR certifications for a Level I Trauma hospital in Columbus, OH, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Level I Trauma hospital in Columbus, OH
• CT Scan department with a high-volume environment of approximately 270–290 scans per day
• 4x10 hour night shifts, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as assigned
• On-call as assigned within staff rotation
• Epic EMR in use
• GE and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment in use

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience; candidates with less experience may be considered with Level I or II trauma background
• Large hospital or Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT certification required with both CT and XR credentials
• OH State Radiologic Technology License required (pending license accepted); license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Canon CT equipment required
• Candidate's permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic CT and radiographic procedures in accordance with ARRT and facility guidelines
• Responsibilities include patient preparation, proper patient positioning, and radiation safety for both patient and operator
• Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics
• Charcoal grey scrubs required
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, though Level I/II trauma experience is strongly preferred
