CT Technologist – Contract Opportunity

Location: Barberton, Ohio
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (Potential Extension)
Schedule: 36–40 Hours per Week
Shift: Day Shift | Rotating 10 & 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 AM–5:30 PM)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) and diagnostic radiology procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience handling emergency and stroke cases while ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate CT imaging equipment efficiently and maintain image quality.
• Evaluate images with the radiologist and obtain additional views when required.
• Assist physicians during invasive imaging procedures as needed.
• Administer IV contrast following established protocols.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures in the electronic medical record.
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection control policies.
• Respond effectively to emergency department imaging needs, including stroke team cases.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any operational concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT (R) certification.
• Current Ohio Radiographer License.
• BLS Certification (AHA).
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience (required).
• Experience performing CT procedures in an acute care or hospital setting.
• Ability to safely administer IV contrast.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and position patients safely.

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification preferred (or ability to obtain CT registry).
• Experience with emergency department and trauma imaging.
• Experience working with Canon/Toshiba CT equipment.

Schedule Details

• Day Shift with rotating 10-hour and 12-hour shifts.
• Typical schedule:
  • 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Rotating weekends.
• Rotating schedule pattern throughout the assignment.
• No on-call requirements.
• No holiday coverage required.
