Description
American Traveler is hiring an ARRT-certified CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a Level I Trauma hospital CT department in Columbus, Ohio.
Details
- Level I Trauma acute care hospital setting in Columbus, Ohio
- CT department with a high-volume workload of approximately 270–290 scans per day
- 3x12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- On-call as assigned within staff rotation
- Uses GE and Toshiba/Cannon CT equipment
- Epic EMR in use
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required; less may be considered for candidates with Level I or Level II Trauma experience
- Large hospital, Level I or Level II Trauma experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (CT and XR) required
- Current OH state license required; pending license accepted
- Current BLS required
- Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Cannon CT equipment required
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Performs diagnostic CT and radiographic procedures in accordance with ARRT and facility guidelines
- Prepares patients for examinations and positions them appropriately for each procedure
- Provides radiation safety measures for both the patient and operator
- Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics
- Charcoal grey scrubs required
