Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgery/OR position requiring at least 2 years of OR experience, prior travel experience, and robotic/scrub experience, with on-call obligations and a flexible 4x10 schedule.

Details

Hospital surgical/operating room setting
4x10-hour shifts with a 6:30 or 6:50 AM start time, flexible based on OR volumes
On-call required based on department needs, including weekdays and weekends
Holiday coverage is provided through rotating on-call with regular staff
Floating within the facility within the traveler's skill set may be required; floating to other sites is not required
Uses Epic EMR
26-week contract (shorter contracts of 13 weeks may also be available)

Requirements

Active WI or Compact RN license required
BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
Minimum 2 years of OR/surgical nursing experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Robotic surgical experience preferred
Scrub nurse experience preferred
Epic EMR experience preferred
Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
SSN, DOB, 2 professional references, Driver's License copy, skills checklist, and copies of certifications and license verification (Nursys within 30 days prior to start) required for consideration

Additional Information

Provides perioperative nursing care in a surgical/OR environment

COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first travel assignment. American Traveler has made the entire process feel easy from start to finish.
