Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III Labor & Delivery position in Carmel, IN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and an active IN or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a Level III Labor & Delivery unit at a 124-bed hospital in Carmel, IN
- Unit includes 8 L&D beds, 2 ORs, 3 triage beds, 4 high-risk antepartum beds, 25 mother-baby beds, and a 16-bed Level III NICU
- High-acuity obstetric care environment with approximately 250 deliveries per month
- Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines with 24/7 in-house coverage including OB Anesthesia, OB Hospitalists, Neonatology, and Pediatric Hospitalists
- Supported by a medical staff of 20+ OB-GYN providers, Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, and Certified Nurse Midwives
- Full-time night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Weekend and holiday coverage required based on unit need
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA-issued)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
- Fetal monitoring certification required — AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent within the past 2 years if not covered on competency exam
- NRP Advanced certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics) required
- Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Driver's license copy required for consideration
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
