Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position requiring strong Pediatric ICU and CV experience, Epic proficiency, and a WI or compact RN license.
Details
- Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) setting within a children's hospital
- High-acuity pediatric cardiovascular patient population
- 12-hour shifts available on days (7:00am–7:30pm) or nights (7:00pm–7:30am) based on unit needs
- Schedule runs Monday through Friday with every other weekend required
- Some holiday coverage required
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA)
- Strong Pediatric ICU experience required with at least 1 year of cardiovascular (CV) experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-acuity hospital setting
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass a Telemetry test prior to starting the assignment
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply provided they have 3+ years of experience in a high-acuity hospital setting
- Candidates with strong Level II experience may also be considered
- Telemetry test must be completed and passed before being cleared to begin work
