Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with strong orthopedic scrub experience for a travel contract requiring an active Illinois RN license and BSN.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room (OR) of an acute care hospital setting
- Orthopedic surgical cases are the primary focus of this position
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Weekend work is required
- On-call commitment of 24 hours per month
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license currently in hand (no emergency or pending licensure accepted)
- BSN required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Strong orthopedic OR experience required
- Orthopedic scrub experience preferred
- Two professional references required, including at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge RN within the past year
Additional Information
- Floating may be required to a different unit or facility upon manager's request
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and cannot be added afterward
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a local pay rate
- Vaccination status must be provided upon application
