Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a general sonography position requiring ARDMS certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience, with vascular experience preferred.
Details
- General ultrasound/sonography unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Evening shifts with candidate's choice of 3x12-hour shifts (2:30 PM–3:00 AM) or 3x10-hour shifts (2:30 PM–1:00 AM)
- Schedule runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- On-call required one night per week from 1:00 AM–6:30 AM
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound/sonography experience
- Active ARDMS and BLS certifications required
- Vascular ultrasound experience preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- License required if applicable — must be active at time of consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for a travel contract
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility in any capacity (permanent, travel, or per diem) should be prepared to provide location and dates of that employment
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; any requested time off must be disclosed upfront

Cost of living in Washington is kind of high. Furnished finder takes advantage of this.
