Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care Case Management position in Eureka, CA, requiring 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Hospital-based Case Management unit
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Required to work every other weekend (EOW)
- No on-call requirements
- Floating between facilities within the state is required based on need
- Epic EMR — experience required
- Local candidates are accepted
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care Case Management experience required
- BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Former permanent staff of the Providence health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are considered with clinical approval
- RTO requests should be submitted upfront; minimal RTO is preferred
- Free parking is provided on the first day; assignment parking details are provided during orientation
- The facility offers housing resources and assistance — including access to a realtor — for travelers who need help finding accommodations
- Located in Eureka, CA, within easy driving distance of 7 state and national parks, including coastal access and the famous Redwood Highway
