Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 1-2 years of inpatient acute rehab experience for a 13-week travel assignment working a Tuesday–Saturday schedule.
Details
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation setting (not SNF or LTC)
- Tuesday through Saturday schedule, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 8-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
- Patient population includes CVA, brain injury (BI), and spinal cord injury (SCI) — neurological focus
- Knowledge of Care Tool scoring preferred
- Coverage for 1 minor holiday required during the 13-week contract
Requirements
- 1–2 years of inpatient acute rehab experience required (SNF and LTC experience does not meet this requirement)
- Experience with neurological patient populations including CVA, BI, and SCI
- Knowledge of Care Tool scoring preferred
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- License verification required if applicable
- Copies of certifications required for consideration

- Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of neurological and rehab patients in an inpatient acute rehab setting

Highly critically ill patients with management keeping respiratory, nursing, and CNA staff greatly understaffed anf always falling behing. They also hire a large number of nurses whos English is not proficient for clear and reliable communications. Management falsifies documents and lies in HR correspondence. Very hard place to work if you’re not able to adjust to these land mines.
