Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a Colorado or compact RN license and prior acute care telemetry experience.
Details
- Telemetry/Med Surg with PCU unit in a 32-bed hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Staffing includes 1 charge RN, 4-8 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 sitter per shift
- Patient ratios of 4 or 5:1
- Uses GE Telemetry monitoring system
- Charts using Meditech EMR
- Performs procedures including IV and foley starts and chest tube removal
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital Telemetry experience required
- Experience caring for post-op CABG patients preferred
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Care for telemetry patients including post-op cardiac cases
- Outgoing, team-oriented personality with willingness to take initiative preferred
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- No local candidates will be accepted
