Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for an Acute Recovery Unit (ARU) position in Jupiter, FL, requiring 2+ years of experience and an FL or compact license.

Details

• Position is based in the Acute Recovery Unit (ARU), where cath and vascular patients are prepped and monitored before their procedures
• 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call requirements
• Cerner or Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab or related specialty
• Active FL or compact license required — license required if applicable
• ARRT (R) or CCI certification highly preferred
• Cerner or Epic charting experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include preparing and monitoring cath and vascular patients prior to their procedures
• RTO is limited to no more than 10 days; no RTO during the first or last week of the assignment
• Local candidates are accepted
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers will not be automatically disqualified, but experience requirements must be met
• Background involving a felony, misdemeanor (including DUI or DWI), or controlled medication violations will disqualify a candidate from consideration
