Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a 13-week night shift contract at an acute care hospital in West Virginia.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in the Radiology department, CT unit
- Imaging performed for both adult and pediatric patients across all areas
- 4x10 night shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including holidays
- No on-call requirements
- Staffing includes 2 CT Techs for inpatient and 1 for outpatient
- Uses Epic EMR along with Canon/Toshiba scanners and Fuji Synapse PACS
- No lead tech on-site; unit is overseen by the Radiology Director/Manager
- Radiologist is in-house from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on-call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- WV state license required if applicable
- Must be able to start IVs
- Driver's license required for consideration
- A current skills checklist (within the past year) is required for consideration
- 2 references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference and 1 peer or additional supervisor reference
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across all areas of the facility for both adult and pediatric patients
- Orientation is up to approximately 2 weeks depending on experience
- Black scrubs are required for all Radiology Techs
- Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before returning
- Travelers are not permitted to work within the WVU system for more than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but experience and certification requirements apply
- Candidates may only be submitted to one WVU facility at a time
- Radiation dosimetry badge must be provided by the agency — the facility does not supply one
- Any background hits must be disclosed prior to consideration
