Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and proficiency on both Siemens and Philips equipment for an acute care and emergency department setting.

Details

• Adult acute care and emergency department settings
• 5x8 hour shifts, evenings (15:00-23:30) or nights (19:00-03:30), with start times that may vary
• Every weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
• No floating required
• Uses Epic EMR (required) and Allscripts (preferred)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• BLS and ARRT CT certification required
• ARRT advanced cert and ARRT R preferred
• Experience with Siemens and Philips CT equipment required
• Proficiency in abdomen, chest, vascular chest, and head CT with and/or without contrast
• Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs, aspirations, biopsies, and brain perfusion studies
• Experience with colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, and myelography procedures
• Skilled in cervical, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, and thoracic imaging
• Active California license required at time of consideration if applicable
• References required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures across abdominal, chest, vascular, head, and spine/musculoskeletal specialties
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront prior to assignment start
• Advanced EKG exam required prior to start, with a minimum passing score of 80%
• Facility is smoke and nicotine-free; candidates must arrive free of tobacco odor
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• Return staff considered on a case-by-case basis
