Description
American Traveler is hiring a RN Step Down for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience.
Details
- Work in a Telemetry/Stepdown (PCU) unit
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- 13-week assignment length
- May be placed on a PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry unit based on skills and facility need
- Required to float onsite within skill set or to other sites within 40 miles if needed
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Must complete RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills checklist
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to telemetry and stepdown level patients
- May be assigned to whichever unit has the greatest staffing need based on skill set
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
- Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis
