Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a night shift position in a freestanding emergency department setting, requiring ARRT-R certification and a minimum of 2 years of recent CT and radiology experience.

Details

• Freestanding emergency department (FSED) setting
• Performs CT scans and radiological exams
• Documents using Meditech EMR; proficiency in Centricity PACS system required
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT and radiology experience (experience must be within the last 6 months)
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required
• RT (Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer) license required if applicable
• BLS required (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date); AHA or ARC accepted — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date
• Vocational school graduate or equivalent education
• Proficiency with Centricity PACS and Meditech
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
• Two professional references required (Florida facility)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities
• Obtain patient consent, prepare patients, and explain procedures prior to imaging
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to a fast-paced emergency environment is strongly preferred
• Black scrubs required
