Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Endoscopy/Outpatient Diagnostics position requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience and an OK or compact RN license.

Details

• Outpatient Diagnostics department within a hospital setting
• Day shift, 4x10 schedule (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Weekend hours may be required as needed by the facility
• On-call requirements apply only to RNs working procedure rooms, involving approximately 2-3 weekday call shifts per month (6:30pm-6am) and weekend call roughly every other month (6am Saturday-6am Monday)
• No float requirements
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active OK state RN license or compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in endoscopy or related specialty
• Endoscopy experience preferred; at minimum, pre/post procedure experience required
• Ability to circulate endoscopy procedures, work in pre-op, and provide recovery care preferred
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs not accepted

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care provided
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care delivered by other direct caregivers
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other hospital departments
• Black scrub color required
• RTO of up to 5 days allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted, though bill rate is reduced for those within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius
