Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in California, requiring active CA licensure, ARRT(CT) certification, and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Diagnostic imaging department in an acute care hospital setting
- 4x10 hour day and evening shifts with no overnight shifts
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Active ARRT and ARRT(CT) certifications required
- Current CA Certified Radiological Technologist (CRT) license required — license required if applicable
- Current peripheral vascular access certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology
- High degree of accuracy in CT positioning and exposure techniques
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- CT Technologists serve as the primary liaison between patients, radiologists, and other members of the support team
- Role requires professional and ethical judgment as well as critical thinking in all duties performed
