Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Chest Pain Observation/PCU position requiring telemetry and NIH Stroke Certification.
Details
- Hospital-based Chest Pain Observation unit within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
- 13-week contract assignment
- Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC, valid for at least 30 days from start
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/Telemetry experience required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Chest Pain Observation unit
