Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care Cath Lab experience and a Colorado or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 holding bays and 2 cath suites
- Unit staffed by a team of 9
- Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM
- Pre/post procedural area follows a variable 0700-1700 schedule
- Patient ratio of 3 staff to 1 patient in the procedural area
- Utilizes GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab equipment
- Charts in Meditech EMR
- Performs procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests
- On-call requirement of 1-2 shifts per week
- Weekend rotation approximately every third weekend (Friday-Saturday-Sunday)
Requirements
- Active RN license (Colorado or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience required
- Holding experience preferred
- Monitoring experience preferred
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
