Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 6 months of current Cath Lab experience and RCIS or RCES certification.

Details

• Work in a cardiac cath lab with 8 holding bays and 4 Cath/EP suites
• Unit staffed with 16 team members
• Patient ratio of 3 staff to 1 patient in the procedural area
• Procedures include LHC, RHC, EP ablations, pacer and ICD implants, cardioversions, TEEs, and tilt table tests
• Additional focus on EP/structural heart monitoring and right heart monitoring
• Uses Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, and CardioLab for EP procedures
• Charting completed in Meditech
• Day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Night coverage provided through a rotating on-call schedule
• Call schedule includes two weekends and 9-12 days of call within a 6-week period

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months current Cath Lab Technologist experience
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• RCIS or RCES certification required
• Candidates with RCIS or RCES must be willing to apply for Fluoroscopy Operator registration with Colorado DORA prior to starting
• ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification preferred
• Scrubbing and monitoring skills preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
