Description
American Traveler is hiring a Level III NICU RN for a 13-week contract requiring 1 year of recent NICU experience and an active TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a Level III Neonatal ICU (NICU) unit within a hospital setting
- 13-week contract assignment
- Scheduled shift is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) card from the American Academy of Pediatrics, Advanced 9th Edition, required
- Minimum 1 year of recent NICU experience required
- No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
- One professional reference required (two references required for Florida and Missouri placements)
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients within a Level III NICU
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
