Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (R)(CT) certification to support ER-driven CT scanning needs in a hospital setting.
Details
- Work in the CT (Cat Scan) department of a 148-bed hospital
- 2-3 staff members scheduled per shift alongside existing tenured hospital staff
- Uses GE Revolution 256 slice and GE VCT 64 slice CT scanners
- Charting completed in Meditech with Synapse PACS
- Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- No floating required
- Shift supports ER volume with no interventional experience necessary
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- ARRT RT (R)(CT) certification required and must be accredited in CT
- License required if applicable
- Competent in performing CT exams
Additional Information
- Perform CT exams primarily supporting emergency room volume
- Will work alongside tenured hospital staff members
- Candidate will receive review on scanning protocols and IV contrast policy
- Navy scrubs required per dress code
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
