Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of echo experience with transthoracic and dobutamine stress echocardiography.
Details
- Hospital-based Echocardiology department
- 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend rotation required
- No on-call rotation
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Echo experience with transthoracic echocardiography and dobutamine stress echocardiography
- RDMS certification required
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Knowledge of cardiology, medical terminology, basic physics, biology, and anatomy required
Additional Information
- Performs non-invasive diagnostic tests for cardiovascular disease to support quality patient care
- Responsible for preliminary echocardiographic measurements and summarizing diagnostic data for the manager or requesting physician
- Performs technical duties using phono-apexcardiograms, imaging duplex, and ultrasound equipment
- Must maintain strict confidentiality of personal and health-sensitive information
- Bilingual or multi-lingual skills appropriate to the patient population served are a plus
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted
