Description

American Traveler is hiring a Level III NICU RN for a night shift travel position requiring NRP certification and 2+ years of NICU experience.

Details

• Work in a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU within a Children's Hospital setting
• Unit staffed with RNs, charge RN, respiratory therapists, and techs on each shift
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to Peds, PICU, and Mother Baby (babies only) units

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• NRP certification required
• NIC-RNC certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a high-acuity Level III NICU
• Work within a large regional referral center known for tertiary and quaternary care
• Navy blue scrub attire required per unit dress code
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
