Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III NICU position requiring NRP certification and prior Level III NICU experience.
Details
- Work in a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU within a children's hospital setting
- Unit staffed with RNs, charge RNs, respiratory therapists, and techs across day and night shifts
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Night shift schedule from 6:45PM to 7:15AM
- Required to work every other weekend
- Floating required to Peds, PICU, and Mother Baby (babies only) units
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact)
- Current NRP certification required; NIC-RNC preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience preferred
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU
- Work within a large academic-affiliated children's hospital known for pediatric subspecialty care
- Navy blue scrub attire required
- Detail-oriented and organized personality is ideal for this role
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
