Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN Procedural for an Interventional Radiology position requiring ARRT (RT) certification and at least one year of relevant experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
- Day shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- Call required for nights and weekends, approximately 8-10 shifts per month
- May require occasional overtime
- No travel or trauma responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
- Current BLS certification from AHA required upon hire
- ACLS certification from AHA required within 6 months of hire
- ARRT (RT) certification required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
- Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience required
- Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a specialized care team
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to an assigned group of patients within the Interventional Radiology specialty
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
- Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary
- Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products
- Communicate care plans with patients and families through discharge
- Oversee treatment provided by technicians and other support staff
- Delegate tasks to support personnel as appropriate
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Compliance documentation must be completed promptly, as start dates cannot be pushed
- Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks from time of offer to allow for compliance processing
