Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist requiring ARRT (NM) or CNMT certification and an active NJ state license for Nuclear Medicine.
Details
- Hospital-based Radiology-Nuclear Medicine department
- Monday through Friday day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- 40 hours per week across 5 days
- No on-call, weekend, or float requirements
- EPIC EMR system used for charting
- Travelers may float to a nearby sister hospital
Requirements
- ARRT (NM) or CNMT certification required
- Active NJ state license for Nuclear Medicine required, if applicable
- CPR certification required
- BS in Nuclear Medicine or graduate of an approved RT & Nuclear Medicine program required
- Experience in general nuclear medicine preferred, including bone, hepatobiliary, lung, and thyroid scans

- Prepares patients for examinations and radiopharmaceutical procedures
- Monitors patient physical condition throughout procedures
- Monitors equipment operation and scanning setup
- Local candidates accepted
