Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ED position requiring at least 1.5 years of pediatric ED experience with trauma and triage skills.
Details
- Work in the Pediatric Emergency Department of a children's hospital
- Unit includes 35 beds total, with 21 ER beds plus a 3rd floor area for fast tracks and surgical suite
- Standard acuity nurse to patient ratio of 1:3, with 1:6 for lower acuity patients
- Tech to patient ratio of 1:8
- 24/7 support staff available
- Uses Epic EMR system
- 12-hour rotating shifts totaling 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Active RN license (WA state or compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI or MOAB
- Minimum 1.5 years of pediatric ED experience required
- At least 6 months of triage and trauma experience required
- General pediatric ED care experience required
- Mental health care experience required

- Provide pediatric emergency care including triage and trauma management
