Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact RN license and TNCC certification.
Details
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- EPIC charting system used
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO or compact) required, no pending license accepted
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and TNCC, none of which may expire prior to start date
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the Emergency Department specialty required
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients
- Perform health teaching, counseling, and refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for this travel assignment
- Background check and drug screening results required prior to start, with expectation to report for drug screening within 24 hours of assignment commitment
