Description
American Traveler is hiring a night-shift CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for an acute care hospital radiology department.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within the CT Tech unit of the Radiology department
- Department has 3 scanners: 2 GE (Optima 660 and Revolution Maxima/PET-CT) and 1 Siemens (Edge Plus)
- General CT imaging with an average of 20-30 scans/studies per day
- No RRAs used and no in-house radiologist
- Uses EPIC EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
- 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, Thursday-Saturday
- Call requirement of 2 shifts per month
- Possible weekend and holiday coverage based on assigned shift schedule
- No floating to other departments required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
- Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
- Must be able to start IVs
- Experience with general CT imaging procedures
- Driver's license copy required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform general CT imaging studies and procedures as part of a 3-scanner department
- Work under the supervision of a Coordinator and Manager
- Department-specific orientation provided, with a total of 12 orientation hours
- Navy blue scrub tops and black pants required as dress code
- Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Clinicians should plan to be in-state for the full week of orientation, even if initial modules are remote
