Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, PALS, CPI, and TNCC certifications on a night shift schedule.
Details
- dsds plus a 4-bed psych pod
- Patient ratios of 4:1
- Day and night shift unit secretary staffing, with tech coverage Monday through Friday day and night shifts
- Uses Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and Lifepak defibrillator equipment
- Documentation completed in Meditech
- Scheduled for 36 hours per week on 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts
- May float to the psych pod or to other Parkridge system EDs, including Parkridge East, Main, and North
- Unit is Chest Pain and Stroke certified
Requirements
- Active RN license (TN or Compact)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, and TNCC
- Strong sepsis and stroke care skillset required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Provide emergency department nursing care across a range of acute and psychiatric patient presentations
- Join an experienced ED team, with many staff members having 5-20+ years of tenure at the facility
- Strong provider and nurse relationships within the department
- Navy scrubs required as part of the dress code
