Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring prior travel experience and the ability to circulate.
Details
- 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Patient population consists of expecting individuals
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2
- 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- No block schedule offered; flexibility to meet unit staffing needs is required
- Weekend shifts required
- Unit creates the staffing schedule
- Float required to Helping Hands, NICU, and Postpartum units
- Uses Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems
- Surgical scrubs provided
Requirements
- Active TN or compact multistate RN license required on file at time of consideration
- Current BLS, NRP, ACLS, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must be able to circulate
Additional Information
- No time off approved from 9/19 through 10/17 due to Epic Go Live
- Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
- Radius rule of 75 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
