Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 1 year of PCU experience and every-other-weekend night shift availability.

Details

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts from 1845-0715
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• First to float to a lesser unit when needed

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of PCU RN experience required
• High acuity drip experience preferred
• Arterial line experience preferred
• BiPAP-AIRVO experience preferred
• New graduates will not be considered for this role

Additional Information

• Multi-day facility and clinical orientation required before starting on the unit
• Required to work major holidays, though manager may accommodate schedule requests for time off
• Facility is nicotine-free
• Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate
