Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 2 years of L&D experience and NRP certification.
Details
- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 7:00
- Patient ratio of 1:2 dependent on acuity
- Uses MEDITECH and OBIX charting systems
- Floating required to Labor and Delivery and postpartum units
- Orientation held every Monday
Requirements
- Active RN license (AZ or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- MEDITECH charting experience preferred but not required
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Holiday coverage required
- Minimal RTO requested at time of submission
- Travel pairs are accepted
- Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
